  • Where is the Tower located?
    The Tower is a Grade II listed building and is located just behind 'Maldon Nails', so it is only a stone throw away from the high street.
  • What amenities are nearby?
    Maldon high street has an excellent range of local shops, boutiques, a variety of restaurants, local pubs, tearooms and a variety of supermarkets including M&S food hall.
  • Is there parking at The Tower?
    The Tower is located right behind the High Street and set within a residential area, therefore there is no parking and any space surrounding The Tower is usually occupied by the residents. However, we are happy to provide you with a temporary parking permit to use during your stay at The Tower. This enables you to park at Butt Lane carpark which is situated across the High Street from The Tower. The permit must be left at the property when you leave as this is our only permit for guests to use.
  • Are pets welcome at The Tower?
    We love all furry friends but unfortunately we do not allow pets to stay at The Tower, this is to protect guests who suffer from allergies.
  • Are children allowed to stay?
    We are a holiday let targeted for singles and couples only so unfortunately children can not stay at The Tower.
  • Can I smoke in the property?
    Unfortunately we are a non-smoking establishment, including 'vapes' (due to insurance policies) however, a smoking box is provided on the outside wall for you to dispose of cigarette buts.
  • What is included in the property?
    The Tower has every thing you'll need to have a comfortable stay; A fully integrated kitchen with beautiful crockery, utensils, wine & champagne glasses, Kitchen towel, kettle, Nespresso coffee machine, microwave, Neff oven and Bosch washing machine, Iron & Ironing board and Dyson vacuum cleaner (should you need it). You'll love listening to the Alexia Echo Dot playing music whilst you cook your food or when relaxing in bed. You will also have free sugar, sweetener, tea bags and coffees to use during your stay. A Luxury modern bathroom which has a toilet, sink and shower cubicle with Luxury Spa hand cream; hand wash, body lotion, body wash, shampoo and conditioner. Cotton, hotel quality hand towels; bath towels and robes, shower non-slip mat and bath matt. A towel rail and underfloor heating will keep you nice and warm whilst you shower. The living room has a LG flat Screen Smart TV, Dyson Cool air purifier and fan, work from home facilities (the coffee table lifts up into a table to work from) Games to play in the drawers, Books, Samsung Blu-ray Player and some films to watch but please feel free to bring your own. A beautiful luxurious bedroom where you will find a hair dryer, hair towel, full length mirror, Samsung Flat Screen Smart TV, double wireless, wall phone & tablet charger and a star gazing light show for those relaxing nights. Your bed will be freshly steam ironed and consist of a mattress topper, bottom fitted sheet, duvet, pillowcases and a spare blanket (in the winter) should you need to use it.
  • Is the Tower wheel chair accessible?
    The Tower is a Grade II listed building therefore we cannot accommodate wheelchairs.
  • Is there free WIFI?
    Yes, the Tower has free complimentary Fibre WIFI and also ethernet connections for those who need to work whilst on their visit.

  • How do I extend my stay?
    We will try our best to extend your stay if there is availability, please call us on 07895 199670, at least 24hrs before your current booking is due to end.
  • I am having trouble with an online reservation, is there a number I can call?"
    Yes you can call Stephanie on 07895 199670 who will be more than happy to help you with your reservation.
  • Do you offer short and long term lets?
    Yes, we offer anything from 1 night stay up to 6 months, if you are planning to stay for more than 7 nights then please let us know by calling or sending an email.
  • Do I need to pay a deposit?
    When booking directly with us we will ask for a £100 deposit which will be refunded on the day you leave providing there is no damage to the property. If by any chance you find any damage on arrival this must be reported immediately otherwise this may effect your deposit refund.
  • What is the earliest time I can check in?
    Check in is after 3pm, as check out is late this gives us time to clean and prepare for your stay.
  • How do I check in at The Tower?
    There is a Igloohome device on the wall outside which will have your keys inside. You will be sent a one time pin number which you will enter into the device on arrival, once acctivated it will release your keys, further instructions will be sent on the day of your arrival.
  • What time do I have to check out at The Tower?
    We don't want you rushing of first thing in the morning so we allow guests to check out at 10.00am however, if you would like a late check-out there is a small charge.
  • Are my card details safe when booking?
    Yes and Airbnb are secured sites as well as booking directly through us, all the details entered as part of your booking are stored safely. Your details will not be shared with any 3rd party.
  • Is the price per person?
    The price is for either one or two people as the price includes the total rent of The Tower, please bare in mind there is a maximin of two people allowed to stay for the entire property due to the size.
  • Can I pay with cash?
    Unfortunately we can not except cash as there is not a reception area at the property, payments must be made before arrival.
  • Is there a cancellation policy?
    You will need to cancel your booking 30 days or more before your expected arrival to receive a full refund and 7 days in advance if you wish to move your booking to another date.
  • How do I make a complaint?
    If there is something wrong please contact the property manager Stephanie on 07895 199670 or email who will do everything possible to deal with your complaint within 24 hours.

Included in your stay is a comfortable and cosy double bed with an organic 2000 pocket sprung, pillow-top mattress. John Lewis cushioned mattress topper which has a thick 3cm depth, is temperature regulating, breathable, and has a cotton-filled top layer and, supportive hollow fiber-filled bottom layer. Super-cosy, Boutique, Cotton, hotel bedding are freshly steam ironed before arrival and are both luxury Egyptian cotton with a high 2000 count cotton thread. Duvets and pillows are luxury 'just like down' made with a luxurious 233-thread-cotton so those with allergies won't be effected because it is made from 'Dacron Comforel Eco' fibers. Fresh, soft, luxurious cotton towels & bathrobes, kitchen tea towels, and bathroom hand towels. 


Quaint and cosy bedroom & living room, modern bathroom with shower, WC, hand basin, and heated towel radiator. Electric heating throughout, underfloor heating in bathroom and kitchen. Toaster, microwave, kettle, Nespresso coffee maker, under counter fridge and Neff electric single oven. Hotel quality crockery, cutlery, and beautiful glassware. Smart TV'S in both lounge and bedroom, for guests to sign into their smart apps. Wall-mounted wireless phone charger for guests to use, found in the bedroom. Samsung Blu-Ray player in the lounge (we have supplied a few DVDs but please feel free to bring your own films)

There is currently no terrestrial live TV at The Tower, however we have signed into all popular TV apps such as BBC IPlayer, ITV Hub etc, so you can log in to all of your smart apps at your convenience and stream live tv through most apps. The coffee table in the lounge when lifted works as a table to eat at or desk to work on. There is an Alexia in both the kitchen and bedroom which you can connect to your Amazon music accounts or you can use the free option with adverts. Free Fibre WIFI & ethernet ports available. You'll love the Galaxy Star gazing machine and lavender sleep spray in the bedroom - you will not want to get out of bed! 

There is a hairdryer, Iron & Ironing board, Dyson vacuum cleaner (should you need to use it) Dyson cool fan and Purifier (great for allergies, hot days or used when cooking to remove smells) 2 glass bottles filled with M&S fresh Scottish mountain water, a glass bottle of milk, and a M&S free complimentary cake.
